We are a consulting and communications agency.
We are experienced facilitators, collaborators, communicators, strategists and analysts applying the sharpest thinking to co-create expertly-crafted strategies and programmes. We work with regional, district and city councils, primary industry, tourism, sectors, Government departments, Government agencies, private sector clients and communities.

The HenleyHutchings Difference
We care.
We see things through to the end. We have a genuine commitment to the outcomes of the work we do – be it supporting regional development strategies, implementing strategic communications programmes or developing business cases for investment. To every situation, we bring our top-level thinking, energy for new challenges and intellectual rigour.
We co-create.
We collaboratively develop solutions, often in environments where there is a wide range of stakeholders with differing perspectives or polarised positions. The combination of our experience, specialist skills and sector knowledge enables us to gain the respect of both public and private sector parties to unlock gridlock and facilitate change.
We relate.
Relationships are at the heart of what we do. Finding collaborative solutions between polarised positions is our one of our key skills. We enjoy working in varied places with different people – be it with Government, industry, our rural heartland or private enterprise. We often say we have ‘one foot in the regions and one foot in Wellington’.

Taranaki: Tapuae Roa
The four local authorities in the Taranaki region sought a new regional economic development strategy, action plan and investment strategy to help prioritise economic development investment and resources.
